Local craft show at Little Penang Street Markets is one of the most awaited events every month in Penang. On every last Sunday of the month, Upper Penang Road is closed. It is filled with white canopied tents to house rows of tables for vendors to peddle their wares. Products range from food (obviously), to clothes, bric-a-brac, antiques and also paintings.

This market is located near The Garage and just across the road from the E&O Hotel. Most of the people here throng to watch the street performance too. At the center tent, everyone can enjoy local music and dance out in the open air. Various artists and singers come here to show-ff their talents. Besides typical singing and dancing, musicians and martial artists also come to introduce their skills. Performances by children and for children are always popular and draw a large crowd.
